The Government is encouraging people to leave a legacy to a good cause in " Remember A Charity in Your Will" Week. Whilst this week has now passed leaving a gift to a charity is something which can be done at any time. Letters have been circulated to solicitors throughout the country, asking them to remind clients to think about leaving a gift to charity; For more information about leaving a gift to a charity in your Will, visit http://www.rememberacharity.org.uk

As of the 1st October 2015 it becomes illegal to smoke in a car with anyone under 18 present (unless you are a 17 year old driver on your own); failure to comply with such can lead to a fixed penalty notice of £50 for both the smoker and the driver.
