Specialisms & Experience
Amrit is based within the Criminal Department representing clients at the Police Station, Magistrates Court and the Youth Court. In addition to this Amrit has significant experience in representing soldiers in the Armed Forces brought before the Courts-Martial for serious criminal and military offences.
Alongside the Police Station Acrreditation and membership of the Duty Solicitor Scheme, Amrit is also a member of the Law Society's Mental Health Panel. Amrit has a wealth of experience representing patients detained under section of the Mental Health Act. Amrit conducts appeals before the Mental Health Tribunal and Hospital Managers for those patients wishing to appeal against detention.
