Peter has been
dealing with clinical negligence claims for over 25 years and has been a
qualified Solicitor for 32 years. He currently heads our Clinical Negligence
Department. He is also qualified as an Arbitrator and has dual accreditation as
a Mediator.
He has successfully concluded many clinical negligence cases recovering literally millions of pounds in damages for his clients. His case experience has included infant brain injury claims, hospital claims of all descriptions, GP claims, claims against dentists, claims against physiotherapists and pharmacists. He is also experienced in pharmaceutical claims against drug manufacturers.
Peter has been accredited by the Law Society onto their Personal Injury Panel and is accredited by AvMa (Action against Medical Accidents) as a clinical negligence specialist. He has written for the New Law Journal and the British Journal of Surgery and has been a visiting lecturer at the University of Northumbria, the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and elsewhere. He has also been featured as a specialist clinical negligence claimant Solicitor in the two major national directories (The Chambers guide to the Legal Profession and the Legal 500). He is an active Rotarian, an RSPCA chairman and a popular after-dinner speaker.
