Beth joined the firm at the start of 2022 and brings with her a wealth of private family law experience.
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Beth studied Law at Durham University and qualified as a solicitor in 2019 after training with a London-based boutique family law firm. This allowed her to specialise in family law from the earliest stage of her training, working on cases across the UK before joining well regarded North East commercial firms.
SPECIALISMS
As a result of her commercial and boutique based experience, Beth has gained experience in a wide variety of private family law areas, from dealing with modest assets, where a creative solution may be required, to complex and high net worth issues. Beth also has experience in separations involving family farms that have their own particular elements that need to be considered in a relationship breakdown.
AREAS OF INTEREST
Beth has a particular interest in advising on financial matters and assisting with prenuptial and cohabitation agreements that enable individuals to plan for their future on an amicable basis.
She also has a keen interest in utilising social media to dispel common myths around divorce and family law, often arising due to portrayals on TV and movies, to encourage people to seek advice early on in the separation process.
Beth prides herself on building a strong rapport with clients, giving them the confidence needed to get through a difficult time in their lives.
ACCREDITATIONS
