Diane started her training contract with Clark Willis in 2009. She undertook seats in Housing, Civil Litigation and Welfare Benefits, before qualifying as a solicitor in February 2011.
Diane specialises in residential and commercial property sales, purchases, new leases, and lease assignments, as well as landlord and tenant issues. Diane manages the Housing Possession Court Duty Scheme at Darlington County Court and is a Legal Aid Supervisor.

Diane has experience of dealing with cases to do with possession, disrepair, anti-social behaviour and unlawful eviction from both a tenant and landlord perspective. Diane was involved with a high profile test case in the Court of Appeal in 2012 ( Cook-v-Mortgage Business  EWCA Civ 17). Diane is a keen conveyancer specialising in purchases, sales, transfers, remortgages and right to buy purchases for both freehold and leasehold property.
