Professional Background

Vicky obtained a degree in Psychology from Loughborough University before studying for the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at Northumbria University. Whilst on the Legal Practice Course, Vicky won the School of Law Best Performance Prize, the David Auld Prize for Best Mental Health Law Student and the BLM prize for Best Litigation Student. Vicky went on to obtain a Masters in Advanced Legal Practice.

Vicky joined the firm in 2012 and worked as a paralegal in the family law department for approximately 12 months. She then commenced her training contract in 2013 and assisted in the family, housing, civil, and personal injury departments before qualifying in 2015.

Since qualification Vicky has specialised in personal injury work.


Vicky has extensive experience dealing with claims following road traffic accidents, accidents in public places and accidents at work. Vicky regularly deals with complex cases where there may be issues with liability or causation.

Vicky also specialises in medical negligence and dental negligence - helping people who have suffered a misdiagnosis or mistreatment whilst under the care of a medical professional. Vicky deals with claims against both the NHS and private healthcare providers.

Vicky also undertakes fatal accident claims and claims to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority for clients who have been victims of violent criminal offences.

In addition to her personal injury work, Vicky assists clients with civil disputes including small claims, contractual disputes, and professional negligence claims. Vicky regularly assists both individuals and businesses in recovering money rightfully owing to them.

Areas Of Interest

Vicky has a particular interest in serious injury claims and claims involving complex physical or psychiatric injuries. She also has a particular interest in claims brought under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act.


Vicky is a member of APIL (Association for Personal Injury Lawyers), an organisation dedicated to ensuring high standards within the profession of personal injury lawyers.

Vicky regularly contributes to her continued professional development by undertaking courses in civil and personal injury law.
